Taste Of Truth

by Venkat

blessed we are
for truth was made neutral
in every drop of its taste

not an ounce sweeter
encased in a beautiful form

not an ounce bitter
worn in tattered old clothes

a taste ever the same
be it a man or a woman
any age, any time, any where

  1. Truth is truth: the bias lies not in its neutrality, but in the filters through which we choose to see it . . . No one is objective at that point . . . I like the poem . . . Makes me think more deeply about my own biases . . .

If you enjoyed the poem. please leave a comment.
