Life’s Machine

ah this grinding machine!
shaped down, conical
sides of two colors
I rotate between
where I am not
where so I am
what I have
have not
ground
so fine
until
they
be
one
merge
together
bridging gaps
holes in my eyes
of self perceptions
where layers of separation
are undressed to reveal the truth
make thorns of life we ever so resist
exist no more as they never really did

  1. Very Melita . . .

  2. Rich, ground, coffee flow-n down…!!

  3. Lovely and i like the form

  4. I did write, as well, about coffee in a poem previously. Peter may be referring to a coffee maker in his statement?

  5. btw I realize your write is more of a metaphor (rich, dark, coffee) then relating to coffee itself. Mine’s just about coffee only.
