Diamond Diggers

moments but, to behold the shine
from uncovered gem stones
ploughing deep into earth
diggers for life we are
precious for our self
earned but not own
as far as dreams
as near as stars
twinkling so
as long as
we dig

diggers can we remain?
to be sand, not the dirt
on wheels of time

  1. What a wonderful write, dear friend. You have truelly captured the essence of the written word.

  2. Very nicely written, Venkat! And the question you raise is poignant when you consider we are dust: from dust we came and to dust we will return . . .

  3. Double Joy and Blessings, For Tuesday 🙂
