Half Truth

by Venkat

half the world is busy
fitting things into their prejudices
rejecting the ‘misfits’
lauding when it ‘fits’

the other half is busy
finding how things misfit
reading the edges
that do not meet
amidst those things
or between the eyes and truth

this poem, half the truth
as much as can be seen
