Dream Sand Castles

by Colly

cool girl yellow

Golden apples and sunsets in May.
Cherished memories to keep for always.
A dolly carriage, full, of carrots to the brim.
A neighbor, left, quibbling, “the carrots are gone.”
Cucumbers in a garden taste so right.
“Such a delight you veg’s could, all, gather here t-day.”
A cherry tree echoes of sweet ruddy treats.
Clusters of jubilant fruit bobble on stems.

The trunks are bent perfectly to dangle, climb on.
That ole tall pine never knew more fame.
Than to whisk tender lives up off their feet.
All six danced, in delight, as your tall branch bent our way.
Up on a, small, hill one crowned himself “king” again.
It was always that way with him, this brother.
At school or play…!!
How I love, loved, adored him so…!!
