There are so many colours
To choose from every day
The only problem, which to use
Depends on what’s to say

Some colours they are small and bright
Others long and dim
But all have place from time to time
Depending on my whim

All words, like colours, find a place
Within the verse I write
Most days a picture will emerge
Dependent on insight

  1. Do you paint? (My winter “sport” lol! ) PERFECT words πŸ™‚

  2. I wished I could paint.

    • Personally, I think we all still can! It’s just that we have an inbuilt fear about what others will think of our efforts. Best thing is to have a go. You don’t have to show anyone what you’ve done – but you’ll probably be quite pleased with the results.
