Table-top Rose

by Colly

personal photo

Deep red. Red rose.
Folds liken to a lover’s heart.
Layers swirl seen as copious.
Inland cove betroths do know.

By gone days on rewind.
Aroma freshens does revive.
Two lovely roses in a vase.
Luminous pathway lit by love.
Bond to last or dissolve…?

Red ripe lips. Blood thirsty droplets.
Quivering, russet, lips cut with a fist.
Charred, withered angst flora(s).
Fervent lover’s in a tangled web.
Only one woman’s loved, cherished.
