Human Principle

by Venkat

human principle
fallen on its own weight
embrittled by rigidity

human principle
dead by its own vision
as eyes fence its borders
into territories

human principle
caught by its own knots
with threads possessive
of ownership

human principle
made into its own prey
crushing others by a tooth
too self important

human principle
burnt in its own fire
a candle meant for reading
thrown to haystacks

human principle
shines in its own beauty
being content as a bead
made of a glistening stone
no shinier than others
on the same thread
