as vapours from earth
time flies
where moments wed
to beget themselves into infinity
time floats
where memories forgotten
dare not tease the present
time freezes
where meaning is lost
to hold nothing but memories
time heals
where memories feel too old
to rock on floors of the mind
time
gives
destroys
preserves
memory
