By Wendy Norman
The sky was infinite
No limitations in sight
Brooding with grotesque labyrinths
Dark as an evil mans soul
A sorrowful cumulus blanket
Seeping with regrets
Mother earth transfixed
Absolution prevailing in her midst
See the sins of mankind
Wounds far and wide
Spattered tears upon my breasts
Your cup runneth over this
Let it be thunderous
Let it be fast
Strike down in speed
We paid no heed
They will plead
And you can dance
Your wrath is sweet
Was but a glance
Momentous stillness at last
Another chance
Horizons of hope
Are now within our scope
