I’m making this post to hep you with the new editor.
You don’t have to use it.
See below.
When making a post, at top left do not click post, new post.
Click dashboard and click new post, that takes you to the old dashboard.
When editing, do not click edit on the post.
Go to dashboard top left, hover over posts and click all posts, then edit.
I hope this helps everyone out.

Ditto – used the new editor several times now, but it’s not as intuitive. Will try your suggestion with the next one. Cheers.

I love the new editor – wish they would update the iPad app to match
Pamela, you are the first one who likes it, its not working right, nothings working right.
In the forum there’s 21 pages with 30 posts per page of complaints and faults 🙂
Its beta and .com are being used to get it right.
I must be lucky then. No problems here

It really is a mess…I searched beepbeepboop in wp help to figre once again, how to post. I also realize that blogs I follow are not appearing in my reader either, althpough they are on the orig blog page. Messmessmess….thanks 🙂
Just post and edit as I said above until they have the new one fixed in a couple of months:)
So I am not the only one driven mad by the new set up!! I had found that fix too Harry by accident rather than design but it is still irritating
Very much so, they are using use as beta testers.
there is an option when you first open the post to go back to the ‘classic’ mode, which is what i’ve selected and so far, no further problems
Yes that option came on yesterday, and most people on the forum say they are using it.
