Mind Versus Stone

by Venkat

an innocent mind accepts
as a trampoline

all stones equal
size not a matter
as long as one can play

a foolish mind filters
as a metal sieve

larger the stone
more the allure
ousting fresh small ones

a wise mind grinds
as a stone crusher

be stones large or small
in the end become equal
felt as in a powder, fine

  1. An unfettered mind does also. If your mind is not mired with your own, unchangeable opinions, you can also accept the ideas of others.

  2. more wisdom from the east . . . Thanks!
