Walking on Eggshells

by dianarasmussen

Walking on eggshells
Trying not to crack
One single shell while I
Keep my mouth shut

I hate this tension
Hanging thick in the air
I can’t pretend it isn’t there

Yell if you want to yell
Scream if you want to scream
Can we just get it over with?
It’s getting so hard to breathe

  1. That’s tension in the air, well described.
