by Georgia

Poetry challenge: Lanturne poem.

sail
away
my dear love
then we will meet
again

please
sweet lips
remember
kisses shared of
love

dream
ofย  me
your harbor
always waiting
here

but
sailing
is your life
so sail away
free

rest
in bed,
dawn is near
tomorrow, you
sail

  1. Ah, I think the first para infact makes a complete poem.. Short, sweet and so meaningful.

    • I agree and I was tempted to stop and maybe I should have … I was in a rush so I’ll be looking at it shortly with a critical eye. Thanks for the feedback.

  2. A multi Lanturne Hmmm ๐Ÿ™‚
