I retard, when I know not what I am
I exist, when I know what I am
I live, when I know what I am not
I grow, when I know I am not what I am
I fly, when I think not what I am
I doubt, when I think what I am
I seek, when I think what I am not
I realise, when I think I am not what I am
I confuse, when I see not what I am
I enjoy, when I see what I am
I wonder, when I see what I am not
I understand, when I see I am not what I am
You are one smart ‘dude’ [as my son would say] . . .
If I say I am not, I appear dumb. If I say I am, still I appear dumb….
Good lord, I had to read that a few times more slowly to capture its many meanings. So very astute. So very wise.x
