Intrepid

by Morgan

Intrepid

Emptiness cries in all directions,
Lost in shapeless sound,
Spinning doldrums of Anticipation,
Leeching Visibility from the gloom.
Yet, in the Mire I Hear Your Voice,
Through the vapour I See Your Face,
Ever the Lamp to my wandering footsteps,
Ever the Song echoing in the Breeze,
Though the unfathomable depths spin and surge
Like rampant fog to betray my Sight,
Into the Mist I Walk,
Intrepid,
Waiting Upon Your Love Alone.

  1. Morgan, you are like a lighthouse set upon the rocks reminding floundering seamen the shore is ever near . . . Blessings . . .

    • Oh my 🙂 Thank You EVER so much. I have been feeling like one of those floundering seafarers lately, so to hear that is TRULY a Blessing and Inspiration. THANK YOU 🙂
