Life, A Game

by Venkat

Life, a game
Played on a yard
Of cunning fox and grapes
Fox of jumps, high
Grapes, distant

Life, a game
Played on a field
Of a moving ball and a goal
Ball of quick speed
Goal, distant

Life, a game
Played on a court
Of a racket and shuttlecock
Racket of direction
Cock, distant

Life, a game
Played on a ring
Of a face and colored glove
Glove of a force
Face, distant

Life, a game
Played on a sea
Of land unseen and a yacht
Yacht of control
Land, distant

Life, a game
Played on mind
Of stimuli and made reaction
React by choice
Stimuli, distant

Life, a game
Played to live on
Of distance and a chase
Moves, deliberate
Fruit, distant

Farther the distance, longer the game

  1. Brilliant composure! Absolutely enjoyed the variety and play on life from so many angles 🙂

    • Thank you. It does not matter who puts it because I never think through until the hand reaches the iPad with the first line. The expression is woven by something else, not in my control. Not sure how it is for others 🙂
