Soul Mates

by Emily Page

Everywhere I go
I’m searching.
Scouring faces
So I don’t miss yours.
Where will you be?

How can I live
Knowing any day
That you and I could meet,
Walk past me in the street.
How would I feel?

How can I love
Another while you
Roam the earth?

How? Because you are, so I am
And that’s enough to know.
