Petals rich, lemon and crimson
Curled and curved and poised for lust
Withstand the winds and rains of April
Powdered lightly in pollen dust
To attract the eye, your mission blatant
To attract the nose, more subtly said
To perpetuate your soil bound kind
The winged knight your seed shall spread
