White Smoke

by Venkat

As waves
Of white smoke
We collide
Clasping each other
For a moment but
To meet again
In a different time
And place

Going to a home upwards
as children of sky
From origins, same
Be it fire or ice

In memories forsaken
Of origins deep
Of destiny far
Our traces wayward
As white smoke
Unable to hold enough
Of each other
In unrhythmic pulses
Of uncaptured love
Unable yet to stop
Our journey in unison

  1. Good imagery, Venkat . . . I can see the smoke dissipating before I can make out the image it intends to send . . . thanks for the imagination!
