Collecting Dust and Spite

by sc0pic

Old and glamorous
The antique machine
Sits idle, and off
Unused in the warehouse
It possesses the long forgotten mating
Of form and function

The owner of both vehicle and building
Keeps it there
For reasons unknown
And the underlings
(Reminded daily of what they have not)
Walk past smugly on their way
To the timeclock
