This Singular Thought

by Morgan

Singular Thought (2)
It is a Singular Thought that Turns
In the Tempests of my Musing Mind,
Breaking from the Ruse of Shadows,
Where my doubts May Smile and let it Hide,
This Singular Thought that Sings with Hope
As Bright as any Glimmering Star,
Might Seem dim Faith by Spectators Measure,
For Sometimes Heaven Seems so Far.
Yet when this Hope Breaks Forth from Clouds
And Smiles with the Dawning Sun,
My Love Recalls Your Gentle Touch
From Days when Stars had Just Begun.
Your Love is Catalyst to Me,
Its Tender Promise True and Sweet,
Your Love is Perfect Unity,
Without it I live, Poor and Incomplete.
