Inherently Flawed

Life, a twisted paper
Torn by wedges
Corners of pain
Up to us to stitch
Forever

Life, a water painting
Colors a bit loud
Spilling on edges
Up to us to refine
Forever

Life, wrapped in cloth
Covered by dirt
Smudges of fear
Up to us to clean
Forever

Life, an old goggle
Scratched within
Unclear vision
Up to us to polish
Forever

Life, inherently flawed
Born into us
A spirit unfree
Up to us to realize
Forever

  1. Very nice, Venkat . . . The polarities of life are rich for the poet . . . You manage them well . . .
    Blessings.
