Didactic: Best At The Middle

by Venkat

Poetry challenge: Didatic poem.

Life, best at the middle
A past neither heavy
Nor a future too far to look for

Writing, best at the middle
Preamble laid down to attract
Making eyes eager for the end

Speech, best at the middle
A first half to come to a point
Second half left to lead others to it

Sport, best at the middle
An insight sound, of the game
An energy not yet drained

A test, best at the middle
Let nervousness to succeed, go
Keep fear of failure away

Relationship, best at the middle
To know the other enough
Yet not know too much

An approach, best at the middle
A confidence not in excess
As at beginning or the end

  1. Not too sure about this ~ as one who is aging fast and with a rather heavy past the future is coming too quickly for me!
