A Verse to Value

by Venkat

Life, a complex machinery
As systems of our physique
A bone chilling mystery
Connected in ways unique

Man, lost in this morass
Unable to find a way
With thoughts gross
Splitting hairs each day

To value his loved one
A distant reality
With egoism, undone
A love of poor quality

Yet answers lie simple
To control the situation
Get a grip, be stable
Bring oneself in position

Three ideas to live by
Bring moments to preserve
From birth till you die
For happiness, a lasting reserve

By exploring ways to see
What others love being
Make an attempt to be
And love not being

With these rules three
Be in their shoes to value
From complexity, be free
Make your love true
