Strings of My Heart

The music in my heart

doesn’t know what to sing

I feel like a guitar

without any strings

The notes of my soul

cry out desperately

How can I harmonize

when you’re my melody?

You’re still playing

the strings of my heart

even though we’re worlds apart

I know you’re up in Heaven

singing over me

’cause you’re still playing

the strings of my heart

  1. I absolutely LOVE this one–and I know the truth of it personally, as someone still plays my heart daily.
