Empty soul, no one’s around
Empty sounds breaking you down
Days and night, it doesn’t change
No one’s fault, no one’s to blame
Empty life, blood on the ground
Empty eyes shutting you down
Hopes and dreams never came
Waiting out, forgetting your name
There is something deep inside me
Something old; it’s far from new
Something cold, but it’s not blue
Something eating at my heart
When the darkness starts to take your soul away
Close your eyes and leave your thoughts to yesterday
As you try to close your past and leave today
Don’t let anybody get into your way
I try to run away but something is telling me to stay
