Memories

by Harry

Posted for Linnie.

The she stands in skin -tight jeans
A replica of what I had been
Slim and beautiful with hair of gold
What a shame I’m getting old.

Time passes by like a flash of light
All I have left are lonely nights
my photo album is my source of joy
All my memories of my girl and boy.

from babe in arms to wedding day
There’s nothing more for me to say
Just close my eyes and dream again
That the boy is eight and the girl is ten.
