Crystalline Dreams

by maiasong

Placed by delicate gentle hands

tired, worn, weary

from the dust

accumulating on the flaking sill.

She silently watched,

waited as the soft shadows played,

lost among broken rocky paths

plowing, forging, turning

forgotten dreams into

precious stones unearthed.

Laid upon the lush bed of cool moss

outside the open window,

coveted by fairies and ravens,

crystalline dreams polished for you

for when you come

will they be vanished away.
