The Devil Weeps

by reikiheidi

Rivers of blood
Shed
Angel’s tears,
The Winged One weeps,
The Devil fears:
What we have made sweeps
Across this earthly hell,
Far more devilry
Than the Devil could compel.

A barren wasteland
Of human machines,
The Horned One weeps
And the Angel fears:
Mortal brutality seeps
And the soul disappears
Drop by bitter
Drop
A river; a sea; an ocean.
What need of the Horned One
And his tempting devotion
When there is already we –
Humanity?
